KICKIN' IT IN KOREA #1: Welcome to Cheonan City

Wow, am I TIRED!

After a 4-hour drive from my hometown in "downstate" Illinois to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport (ORD), my flight left direct to Incheon Airport (ICN), which is an hour outside of Seoul.  The flight was supposed to be 14 hours, but it ended up only being 13 hours.  Oh, darn, what a relief!

Since my flight left at 1am at ORD, it arrived at ICN at 4:15am.  A person met me from the university at 9am.  Praise God the NCAA Tournament was on at that time!  The commentating was in Korean, but the video told the story.

Tonight I bought a bunch of stuff for my apartment - you know, all that stuff that you don't realize you have, unless you have to buy it all at once (i.e. paper towels, shampoo, detergent, etc.)

Below are pictures from Korea Nazarene University where I'll be working.  It is in Cheonan City, which is 80 miles south of Seoul, but only a 30-minute speed train to downtown Seoul.
